Mike has spent his career helping people make better decisions with data. In 2012, he set up and ran one of the world’s first data science consultancies and has extensive experience using, sharing, and interpreting data in many forms. He believes that better data visualization holds the key to people using data for discovery, insight, and action!
Follow the Extended Course Case Study
To guide you through each stage, we’ve recreated a classic dashboard-creation project.
You will take on the role of a contractor tasked with studying the needs of a fictional client (Jane, project manager at Global Bank) in order to create a dashboard to help with decision-making around mortgage applications.
Throughout the course, you’ll follow this practical example from start to finish, from understanding client needs to delivering the final product. You’ll see all of the working documents for this project and can even take a peek at conversations with Jane to make this overview as realistic as possible!
Through this, you’ll learn:
