I was questioning on this issue , I hesitated at first knowing that jQuery did not like the dives But in fact both are possible . You learn something every day.   and here on the doc for .css () jQuery ( http://api.jquery.com/css/ )

Mais en fait les deux sont possibles. On en apprend tous les jours.

For example, jQuery understands and returns the correct value for both .css( "background-color" ) and .css( "backgroundColor" ). This means mixed case has a special meaning, .css( "WiDtH" ) won't do the same as .css( "width" ), for example.
