hello every body . i need to extract the contour of a hand with python using the kinect.(only fingers and palm ) i have do that but i need to show only the palm and fingers and stopping to the handle or show the hand inside a rectangle. so any help please  !!

Image recognition is very very difficult, and you won't be able to code something that hard. Unless kinect python libraries provide easy way to do that you should drop that idea :(
