Something around you keeps going wrong. The shared laundry room is always a mess, the community fridge keeps spoiling food, the group chat is so noisy that people miss what actually matters. You can feel the frustration, but the moment you try to fix it, you are not quite sure what the real problem even is.

So most of us guess. We jump straight to a solution, spend real effort on it, and watch the same trouble come back, because we treated a symptom while the real cause kept producing it. Whether you organize a community, improve a routine at home or at work, or simply want to think more clearly, the ability to define a problem and see the system it lives in is a skill almost no one is ever taught.

This beginner course teaches that skill as a simple, reliable method, using everyday, general-interest examples rather than jargon. You will learn to turn a vague complaint into a clear, observable, bounded problem; trace it from symptom to root cause with a method called the 5 Whys; and map it as part of the wider system that produces it, including where to draw its boundary. No prior training in problem-solving or systems thinking is assumed, and every term is defined the first time it appears. You bring your own everyday problem and put the whole method to work on it.

Enroll now and learn to turn any everyday frustration into a problem you can actually solve.
