Talking to users and testing products on users are crucial to the success of any product you build.

In this course we'll break down the steps of conducting usability testing in order to learn from users as they use actual products, features or prototypes.  We'll assign a task, observe users while they complete it, listen to them as they think out loud, and look for areas the product could be improved.

Usability testing is easy and affordable, and anyone can do it thanks to remote testing. Therefore, it should be conducted early, and often in the life cycle of a product. It's also great to combine with other techniques like heuristic evaluations, task analysis, card sorting and A/B testing to evaluate products.
