In 2018, Gartner, a global research and advisory firm, asked 460 CEOs, to name their organization’s top five business priorities over the coming two years. Of those polled, 62% cited a need to undergo a digital transformation. As a result, an entire industry of technology businesses and consultants have sprung up to compete for budgets worth over a trillion dollars a year to help deliver that transformation.

If your organization isn't already in the midst of a digital transformation, the chances are that sooner or later it will be. These are complicated projects that typically take several years to deliver.
