Hello, and welcome to this creativity workshop, one of a number of our self-directed courses to help you improve your soft skills.
In this course, you’ll unpack all the facets of your own creativity to highlight your strengths and weaknesses. In a range of skills-based, practical exercises, you’ll learn techniques for quick idea generation, build confidence to share your ideas, apply what you’ve learned in real settings, and discover how to demonstrate your creativity in job applications and interviews.
Each chapter of the course will begin with a video that touches on key learning points and offers additional advice or points of interest. You’ll also encounter snippets of interviews with people in a range of careers, where they discuss how they use creativity for problem-solving at work.
Use the Take Action exercises to consolidate your learning immediately. Then, at the end of each chapter, you’ll find a self-reflective practice to complete in your creativity journal. Ensure you keep a notebook handy for this. You’ll be asked to reflect on your experience and identify key learning points that will help with your creative thinking from now on.
I hope you enjoy delving into your creativity in this course, exploring how you can develop it as a skill, and building a creativity toolbox to use now and in the future.
