As with any technical career, a front-end developer needs the right tools.

I’ll walk you through installing, configuring, and taking your first steps using three important tools in this course.

First, you’ll set up your workhorse for all things code: Visual Studio Code, with its advanced editor, file explorer, command palette, and built-in console and version control tools.

After VS Code, you’ll set up Chrome and Firefox, two browsers that will make testing and analyzing your projects a breeze with their powerful developer tools.
