2. Is this program completely free?

The online training apprentices receive (1 day/week) is free throughout the apprenticeship. However, you are responsible for their salary for the 4 days/week they are working with you. Apprentices earn a lower wage than experienced workers, and there is non-repayable funding available to help offset salary costs. This allows your business to save on higher wages while gaining an apprentice with the latest skills to apply on the job.
