The Digital Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the launch of a range of digital projects such as corporate websites, mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, software projects, and many more! They are in charge of ensuring the project runs smoothly. This means making sure it’s completed on time, within the planned budget, and that the quality of the delivered project is guaranteed. They need to keep both your team members and clients happy along the way!
Their stakeholders (mainly developers, designers, online marketing specialists) will count on them to choose the project management style that best meets the challenges they’re facing. It could be an agile or more traditional workflow.
The digital project manager also regularly meets and reports back to the client on behalf of the team. This will either be an in-house client, such as another team, or an external client if they’re working in an agency.
In this role, your main missions involve:
- Establishing the customer need: analyzing the feasibility of a project, identifying necessary resources, presenting the project outcomes.
- Leading digital projects from A to Z: carrying out audits, setting up a test protocol, managing sprints, modeling data, and launching the product to market.
- Ensuring compliance with the planning, quality requirements and budget of a project: prioritizing, prototyping, continuous improvement,and reporting.
- Federating stakeholders: managing internal and external conflicts and issues, leading meetings.
- Developing a web marketing strategy: implementing a content and SEO strategy and managing web campaigns.

- A level 5 professional certification, associate’s degree, or equivalent in project management, IT, web development, design, marketing, or communication.
or
- a level 4 professional certification, high school/secondary school degree, vocational certificate, or equivalent and at least 2 years of professional experience in project management, IT, web development, design, marketing, or communication.
All other candidates will need to go through a specific admissions process, including a placement test. These candidates must have:
- A level 5 professional certification, associate’s degree, or equivalent in any subject with at least 1 year of professional experience in any field.
or
- a level 4 professional certification, high school/secondary school degree, vocational certificate, or equivalent in any subject with at least 3 years of professional experience in any field.
and
- a portfolio consisting of the following supporting documents:
- Certification for having passed the OpenClassrooms courses ‘Learn about agile project management’ and ‘Work effectively in a team’.
- A personal project that the candidate has planned or managed, such as training and job search project, real estate purchase project, or other project related to their current job, accompanied by a 10-minute recorded video explaining the project.
Language: Certificate not older than 2 years to demonstrate a minimum level of English B2. Certificates accepted:
- English Diploma from a secondary institution (private or public) or an accredited higher learning institution
- Linguaskill minimum score: 160 • BULATS minimum score: 60 • TOEIC minimum score: 785 • IELTS minimum score: 6.5
