erreur html 1.1

    3 août 2006 à 12:03:11

    bonjour alors voila mon problème j'ai testé ma page et j'ai plein d'erreurs j'ai essayé de les corrigés mais ca ne marche pas surtout les </br> et les <td> si quelqu'un connait la solution je lui serai reconnaissant merci d'avance

    Result: Failed validation, 28 errors
    File: index.html
    Encoding: iso-8859-1
    Doctype: XHTML 1.1
    Root Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml

    Note: The Validator XML support has some limitations.
    This page is not Valid XHTML 1.1!

    Below are the results of checking this document for XML well-formedness and validity.

    1. Error Line 23 column 9: document type does not allow element "td" here; assuming missing "tr" start-tag.

    <td><a href="index.html">Accueil</a></td>

    &#9993;
    2. Error Line 29 column 17: end tag for "tr" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

    </div><!-- menu -->

    You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".

    &#9993;
    3. Info Line 23 column 6: start tag was here.

    <td><a href="index.html">Accueil</a></td>

    4. Error Line 29 column 17: end tag for "table" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

    </div><!-- menu -->

    &#9993;
    5. Info Line 21 column 13: start tag was here.

    <table>

    6. Error Line 30 column 12: end tag for element "table" which is not open.

    </table>

    The Validator found an end tag for the above element, but that element is not currently open. This is often caused by a leftover end tag from an element that was removed during editing, or by an implicitly closed element (if you have an error related to an element being used where it is not allowed, this is almost certainly the case). In the latter case this error will disappear as soon as you fix the original problem.

    If this error occured in a script section of your document, you should probably read this FAQ entry.

    &#9993;
    7. Error Line 42 column 73: the name and VI delimiter can be omitted from an attribute specification only if SHORTTAG YES is specified.

    ...dio" name="saison" value="saison 1" checked> saison 1</label><br />

    "VI delimiter" is a technical term for the equal sign. This error message means that the name of an attribute and the equal sign cannot be omitted when specifying an attribute. A common cause for this error message is the use of "Attribute Minimization" in document types where it is not allowed, in XHTML for instance.

    How to fix: For attributes such as compact, checked or selected, do not write e.g <option selected ... but rather <option selected="selected" ...

    &#9993;
    8. Error Line 42 column 74: end tag for "input" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

    ...o" name="saison" value="saison 1" checked> saison 1</label><br />

    &#9993;
    9. Info Line 42 column 14: start tag was here.

    <label><input type="radio" name="saison" value="saison 1" checked> saiso

    10. Error Line 49 column 9: there is no attribute "size".

    <hr size=1 width=50% color="Black">

    You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not support that attribute for this element. This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Transitional" document type to get the "target" attribute), or by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "marginheight" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).

    This error may also result if the element itself is not supported in the document type you are using, as an undefined element will have no supported attributes; in this case, see the element-undefined error message for further information.

    How to fix: check the spelling and case of the element and attribute, (Remember XHTML is all lower-case) and/or check that they are both allowed in the chosen document type, and/or use CSS instead of this attribute.

    &#9993;

    14. Error Line 49 column 19: an attribute value must be a literal unless it contains only name characters.

    <hr size=1 width=50% color="Black">

    You have used a character that is not considered a "name character" in an attribute value. Which characters are considered "name characters" varies between the different document types, but a good rule of thumb is that unless the value contains only lower or upper case letters in the range a-z you must put quotation marks around the value. In fact, unless you have extreme file size requirements it is a very very good idea to always put quote marks around your attribute values. It is never wrong to do so, and very often it is absolutely necessary.

          Hum, va relire les cours.

          Les attributs et éléments de mise en forme tels que FONT, COLOR, BGCOLOR , SIZE, etc. sont à remplacer par du CSS.
          Les valeurs d'attributs doivent être entourées par des guillements, sous la forme : attribut="valeur".
          Les balises autofermantes telles que HR doivent comporter un slash de fermeture, et de préférence un espace avant celui-ci : <hr />, <br />.
          Les éléments de cellule <td></td> doivent être contenus dans des éléments <tr></tr>.
          Les noms d'attributs et d'éléments sont toujours en minuscule : onclick et non onClick.
          Tout élément ouvert doit être fermé, imbriqué correctement.
          En suivant ces consignes de syntaxe, ton document devrait être valide.

          Sinon, il est un peu tôt pour un doctype XHTML1.1 ; mais bon, même en 1.0 ça reste de la soupe.
