Have you heard people around you talking about DevOps without really understanding what it means? Are you a developer or system administrator looking to make your work more efficient? Or perhaps you’re just interested in this approach and want to find out more about implementing it within your workplace?
This course is made for you!
I'm Laurent Grangeau and I’m a DevOps coach who has implemented DevOps within many organizations. The video part of this course is presented by Masha Kazankova, a senior product manager with experience working with teams that have undergone a DevOps transformation. Welcome to this course! Together, we’ll go through the cornerstones of the DevOps movement, its pros and cons, and how to adopt it in the workplace.
We’ll start by finding out where DevOps comes from and what it involves. Then we’ll look at the C.A.L.M.S. acronym (Culture, Automation, Lean, Measurement and Sharing), which is at the heart of the DevOps method. Next, we’ll discover patterns and antipatterns for implementing DevOps. These are good and bad practices for setting up DevOps in your workplace. In the final chapter, we’ll look at the role of the SRE—a profession that emerged from the DevOps movement.
Are you ready to implement DevOps in your organization? Come join us in the first chapter!
