The International Data Corporation estimates that annual spending on digital transformation will grow to $2 trillion a year by 2022 worldwide.

In 2018, Gartner, a global research and advisory firm, asked 460 CEOs to name their organization’s top five business priorities over the coming two years: 62% cited a need to undergo a digital transformation.

Digital transformation is a complex undertaking, full of challenges, including internal opposition. It can be costly in workforce and capital expenditure, so getting transformation right is crucial. 

Whether you are a senior leader, a mid-career executive, or looking to develop a new career in digital transformation, this program will prove essential.

Which courses will I follow as part of this path?

In order to earn the professional certificate, students will need to submit five hands-on projects.  All of the instructional materials needed to complete the projects are provided in the courses produced by the Stanford Center for Professional Development. Here are a few examples of courses:

What qualifications will I achieve by the end of the path?

Created as a collaboration between Stanford Center for Professional Development  and OpenClassrooms, students who complete the path will receive both a Stanford Center for Professional Development Professional Certificate and an OpenClassrooms master-level diploma (EQF level 7).

Who is eligible to enroll?

Successful students will have:

  • A bachelor's degree, or a year of equivalent experience in a project or program management role, which you can tell us about here.
  • Professional experience in a management role (at least 2 years).
  • A good level of English (for non-native speakers, a CEFR level of B2, an IELTS band score of 6.5, or a TOEFL score of 80 is recommended).
  • Access to a computer (PC or Mac), headphones, a webcam, and a stable internet connection.

Your diploma

OpenClassrooms is an official private distance learning establishment registered with the Board of Education in Paris, France that grants its own diplomas as well as those of prestigious academic partners.

Upon completion of your studies and validation of your skills by an academic jury, you will earn a "Digital Transformation Lead" master's-level diploma.
This diploma is at level 7 on the EQF (European Qualifications Framework).

This path will be the subject of a registration application with the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP), France compétences, in order for the level of the diploma to be recognized by the State. This process takes 8 to 18 months. If the outcome is successful, the first students will be able to retroactively claim recognition by the RNCP. If the outcome is negative, the level of the diploma will not be recognized by the State.
