Let me introduce myself as the course instructor. My name is Esteban, and I've been a back-end developer for over 10 years. I've designed this course based on my professional experience and with contributions from other experienced developers.
The course is made of three parts, with each part split into multiple chapters like this one. Throughout the course, you'll encounter demonstrations in the form of code snippets and screenshots of the steps that I'm taking on my computer. You should follow along, mimicking the steps on your own computer at every step of the way!
At the start of each chapter, you'll find an introductory video in which Aaron, another experienced developer, will cover some of the more universal testing concepts and explain why they're important to learn.
We'll periodically check what you've mastered with a short quiz. If a particular quiz question proves to be difficult for you, or if you answer incorrectly, be sure to go back and review before moving on.
And again, be sure to code and test alongside me as you progress through the course. Becoming a confident and reliable developer takes a lot of hands-on practice.
Let's get started!
