Get to Know the Deditex Company
Deditex is a fictitious American company created especially for this course.
This new player in the textile industry specializes in eco-sourced and recycled materials. Its head office, in Rochester, New York, employs 25 designers. Some products are manufactured at the Rochester site, others through Mexico, China, and Vietnam subcontractors. The manufacturer has also launched its own sportswear brand, Clotheco, a line of clothing made entirely of recycled polyester.
The group launched in 2010 and has experienced strong growth over the last five years. The pandemic and some scandals linked to overconsumption in the textile sector have led to new consumer awareness, helping Deditex to grow and develop.
The marketing and communication department is being restructured to support the company’s growth. A new marketing director, Michael Redding, has just taken over.
Throughout this course, you will help Michael conduct an online reputation audit and establish his influence strategy.
It will be a good way to learn by practicing on a concrete case study!
Are you ready? Right, let's get going!
