A local parents’ group wants to make its weekly grocery-share fairer, so it adopts a free AI app that splits the costs, suggests menus, and messages everyone automatically. It looks perfect. Then one family is quietly overcharged for weeks, a child’s food allergy is ignored by an AI-suggested menu, and nobody notices that the app has been storing every member’s home address and passing it to a partner service. No one acted carelessly. The tool simply carried risks that no one stopped to weigh before trusting it.

We all adopt digital and AI tools this way now, in our homes, our clubs, and our communities, and AI increasingly shapes more of these everyday choices for us. Most of the time it helps. But every tool also carries risks: it can be wrong, it can be unfair, it can leak or misuse personal information, it can cause real harm to the people who rely on it. The ability to pause and ask “what could go wrong here, and does it matter enough to act?” is what separates a confident, responsible user from someone who finds out too late.

In this course, you will learn to run a risk review on any tool you choose: name its risks, weigh how likely and how serious each one is, decide what to do about each, and reach a recommendation you can defend even when the information is incomplete.

Learn to see the risks in the tools you already use, and to make a call you can stand behind. Enroll and start reviewing digital and AI tools with confidence.
