Use OpenClassrooms’ Resources

Provided Resources

Don’t worry; you’re not alone! To help you to meet your responsibilities, we have provided you with several resources.

The Mentors’ Area

When you sign into the OpenClassrooms platform, you will see your Mentorship Dashboard. In this section, you will be able to see:

  • Your calendar with the dates of upcoming assessments.

  • The work completed by your students and their submitted deliverables.

Mentor Guides

The mentor guides are there to help you with your assessments!

There are several tabs for each project. In addition, as an assessor, you will have access to the Mentor Guide tab, which will provide information about the criteria that should guide your analysis of the deliverables and presentation.

Slack

Slack is OpenClassrooms’ community tool. Join the group of mentors/assessors working on the same path as you. Doing so will allow you to:

  • Ask questions to the community, especially if you have any doubts about whether to pass or fail a project.

  • Answer questions from other mentors/assessors.

The Help Center

Do you have a practical question to ask, such as filling out your availability for assessments? Or how to schedule an assessment? Head over to the help center. The Evaluate the students’ section contains articles on common assessor questions.

Identify Your Contacts

The OpenClassrooms community is here to help!

  • Count on the help of other mentors and assessors who are helping students on the same path as you. You can contact them via Slack or by private message on the OpenClassrooms platform.

  • If a dispute arises, get support from the mentorship managers. They will help you to solve the situation and, if necessary, to handle mediation.

Lets Recap!

Here is the list of the resources that are available to you:
