
Welcome to this course on discovering the role of a Retail Sales Associate a profession at the heart of customer experience and relationship-building.
In this first chapter, you’ll learn how this role contributes to prospecting and customer relationship building. Then, you’ll explore how omnichannel customer experiences are created and how a physical retail space is set up to support those experiences.
You’ll also see how effective omnichannel sales are carried out in practice.

Throughout the course, you’ll follow the fictional fashion retailer NexTrendish to discover the day-to-day responsibilities of a Retail Sales Associate. At the end of each chapter, you’ll complete an observation activity based on this running case study.
For the final quiz, you’ll step into the role of a Sales Associate for the mobile phone company PurpleBlue.
