Get some practice integrating a theme and plugin of your choice

It's your turn

Your WordPress site should:

• have at least 3 different pages with at least 5 lines of content each.

• have an upper navigation menu with a list of your pages in it.

• have a footer with fake or real contact information.

• integrate a theme that is not Sydney (the course example theme).

• be tweaked with at least one modification directly in the theme's customizer.

• include at least one modification to the theme's CSS within the editor.

• integrate a calendar widget somewhere on the site.

Check your work!

Check the following elements:

• The website or website's screenshots contain at least 3 different pages with at least 5 lines of content each.

• The URL included in the file directs to a live WordPress website created by the student, or if the student's trial has expired, the screenshot of the live website shows a WordPress website created by the student.

• The integrated theme is not Sydney (the course example theme)

• The website includes:

  • A navigation menu with a list of the pages

  • A footer with fake or real contact information

  • A calendar widget 

  • At least one modification to the theme's CSS within the editor
