Back-end developer – Temporary position
Duration: 3 months
Location: London
Qualification: 2 years higher education
Prof. experience: > 6 months
Company: YESWECAN enables small- and medium-sized businesses in the UK to finance their expansion through a community of private lenders and professionals. With this financing, UK companies are hiring, innovating, and expanding in the UK and internationally. The team is supported by nearly a hundred Business Angels and a major bank, who all co-invest in each of our projects through dedicated credit funds.
Description of post: Ready to join our web team? Here at YESWECAN, the web team is a mix of development, digital marketing, and customer service. And as customer service is right in the middle of the office, everybody gets feedback from customers on what they develop or market.
As a back-end developer, you will be in charge of several major projects , which you will be required to take to a successful conclusion with the support of the rest of the team. You will be at the heart of the business process, and you will find yourself working on projects that affect not only our customers, but also the way our teams work internally. To do so, you will be required to master different development languages and tools, some of which may be new to you.
And of course, you will have to have an open mind and listen to things that will seem complicated at first: we will talk about credit analysis of companies, financing, investment, etc. And we will continue to create new ways to use these topics together!
Why join YESWECAN?

To be part of a young modern web team
Our missions:

Desired profile:
Your education and training aren't your most important quality; what is important is your ability to learn new things, to take them quickly on board.
Do you have a pioneering spirit? If so, you are bound to have a number of personal projects to present, things you got involved in (even if they didn’t necessarily result in anything) and which will show us that you’re not afraid to undertake new initiatives.
We’re looking for:
An enthusiastic developer, ideally with experience using PHP Symfony
A fast learner who loves challenges and finding solutions
A thorough worker who likes processes
Someone friendly who’ll be able to communicate easily with various teams
Recruitment steps:
Phone interview with a member of the web team
Sharing a personal project
Face-to-face interview with the web team
