At OpenClassrooms, each student has a mentor to support them during their training program. The mentor has a direct influence on a student’s success because they:

  • offer guidance throughout the training program.

  • provide weekly mentoring sessions.

  • prepare the student for their path assessment.

How can you mentor a student effectively? How can you make sure they have everything they need for success? How do you run a productive mentoring session? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one asking yourself these questions. This course will have you ready to apply all the best practices and methods starting from day one!

You’ll learn about what a mentor does, how to onboard a student, how to kick off a project, and how to conduct a mentoring session so that your student gets the most out of it.
